Sustainably manufactured men’s shirts

For us, sustainability is an important part of RIESENHEMD. Therefore, we have placed special emphasis on various aspects:

Longevity of our shirts

We have our shirts manufactured according to high quality standards. Both the fabrics and the workmanship are high quality. Our shirts are not disposable products, but should last as long as possible.

Production in Europe

Our fabrics and shirts are produced in Europe, more precisely in Spain. The company that produces our shirts is a long-established family business. We have direct contact with the company and are always on site. Manufacturing in Europe is important to us, as it means we have shorter transport distances compared to production in Asia, which is normally the case. And our shirts are made by a company that is subject to European labor laws.

100% European cotton – OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics 

All fabrics of our shirts are made of 100% European cotton and are tested and certified for harmful substances according to the strict “OEKO-TEX® – STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX” procedure.

Packaging from recycled materials

Where possible, we use different recycled materials in our packaging. For example, both the plastic of the envelope and the cardboard are 100% recycled. We look for ways to reduce our packaging materials as much as possible.

100% compliance with the packaging law

Of course, we fully comply with the new packaging law – and thus help to save CO2.
