After RIESENHEMD had selected producers, it was now a matter of finalizing the design of the men’s shirts in extra length and selecting the fabrics.
A shirt is a shirt, you think? No, quite wrong!
Did you know that a shirt has about 20 different parts, such as the collar, the front and back, the sleeves and the cuff. How these parts harmonize together determines the design, which varies greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer.
One thing is set with the RIESENHEMD design – the sleeves are extra-long, 72 cm. And the torso is also longer, because our shirts are, after all, for long-grown men from 1.90 meters. But – collar, cuff, buttons, placket, cut, all this is to define. And of course the fabrics…

We design each shirt with attention to detail, and we pay attention to sustainability: our shirts are made of high quality fabrics that last.
For our shirts we have selected in collaboration with our producer really high quality fabrics made of 100% European cotton, all made in Spain. The first collection is made of poplin, fit-à-fil, oxford and herringbone twill fabrics. You can find more in the overview of our fabrics
