Holiday outfits for the tall man

Fashion tips for big men. December brings with Christmas and the transition to the New Year many occasions for social, cultural and family meetings and events: Christmas dinners, Christmas parties, other invitations and, of course, the New Year’s Eve party. All in different places – perhaps in a posh hotel, in a trendy restaurant, privately with friends or with family.

At all these meetings you should show yourself fashionably from the best side. For a successful outfit for these special days RIESENHEMD Hamburg would like to give all customers and big men a few fashion tips here:

If you’re lucky, the hosts will already give advice on the dress code on your invitation. Follow them! For particularly elegant occasions, such as a Sylverstergala, you are welcome to dress up in a classic tuxedo. Add a matching tuxedo shirt, a nice bow tie, cumberband or vest, and of course patent leather shoes – this will definitely make tall men look very elegant. 

If you don’t own a tuxedo, you can also make a good impression at a formal party with a dark blue or black suit. A nice shirt, an elegant tie or bow tie, and good shoes – the classic outfit is ready.

If you want it to be a little casual, but still formal, then you can also leave the tie at home. Here you then have a little more leeway regarding the shirt – either classic white or light blue, or definitely something more fashionable – such as with our shirts Prague, Vienna, Madrid or Oslo.

These shirts can be worn well with a plain suit as well as in interaction with a jacket / blazer and cloth trousers. 

A cool combination is also the black suit with our black shirt Stockholm – the “Man in Black” is always cool!

At the same time, in slightly less formal rounds, you can also swap the jacket for a nice sweater (for tall men: plain and with a round collar is often the best choice, see our fashion tips for tall men).
